The Heartbeats continue to strive to be a major influence on the sport by setting the highest standards in jump rope competitions, performances and clinics throughout America.
Over the years, the Heartbeats have been supported by the parents, paid performances, fundraising activities and donations. As the team grew, a Booster Club was formed which now meets monthly and serves as the informal organization of the team.
With the increased prominence of the Heartbeats came increasing funding
requirements to help offset the numerous expenses incurred by the team. In 1998 the Heartbeats obtained 501(c)(3)
non-profit status which provides the team with the ability to seek financial support from businesses as well as
individuals outside the Booster Club and which will help carry the team into
the future.
